I've got a 1.8 SE2.
Its got a half leather and blue alcantara interior. Its 123bhp as standard with a 0-60 of 8.5 seconds. It goes well and is really comfortable.
It handles better standard than my corsa did lowered on shocks and springs.

The SE2 (special edition 2) came with the choice of 2 engines, the 1.8 and the 2.2. If you get the 2.2 you also get a trip computer.
They all came in Europa blue, this colour was previously reserved for turbo models, 17" alloy wheels and the stunning interior with side air bags in the seats

My dad had one, it actually pulls quite nice for a 1.8, handling is quite assured too for a big car. Comfortabley seats 4 adults, good on fuel, massive boot. I'd own one.

sure i read a post on astrasport and the standing start specs were pretty much the same as a 2.2 but running costs and insurance are cheaper

They're not that different on paper as the 1.8 has a shorter box. Good car.
